This is cool! Massive Metroid vibes lol
very fun
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it.
the game is fun i just had to get used to the A and B controls. the enemies were also too low for me too shoot even when i did crouch. i did really like finding the shield parts though :D
Hey, glad you enjoyed it! The enemies going too low is a thing that is supposed to happen, there is a way to shoot down, but in the demo I didn't teach about it, so that's my bad, sorry! (PS the down shoot doesn't have collisions anyway in the demo...oops)
The enemies tend to go to the height of the players feet, so the only way I can beat them is going to a higher ground and then jumping down and shoot them while they are descending, or killing them the moment they appear on screen befare they are at a lower height than I can shoot.
One big problem I found is that the enemies go too low for them to be shot, maybe make them randomly move under and over the firing line
Nice game! too bad it lags when shooting many projectiles or when a enemy is on screen
Hey, thanks, glad you liked it! Yeah, with that many sprites going on, the Game Boy doesn't enjoy it all that much. It is a point I want to tackle when optimizing, thank you for the input!
